Process-integrated water separation in the chemical and petrochemical industry, e.g. in the production of fuels.
ALINO-IS coalescence separators use special inserts for water separation with special fibres. Both phases flow through these inserts, whereby water droplets adhere to the hydrophilic fibres of the coalescence elements and larger droplets coalesce. In a second stage, separator inserts consisting of a water-repellent Teflon membrane prevent water from leaving the apparatus with the oil.
Fully automatic water discharge
ALINO-IS coalescence separators can be equipped with a control box, feed pump, valves and all measuring devices for automatic water discharge. The separated water is collected in the vessel and discharged regularly, depending on the filling level. The vessels can also be manufactured as acc. to the Pressure Equipment Directive (2014/68/EU).
Coalescer elements can be equipped with an integrated filter to simultaneously remove small amounts of impurities from your process stream.
